Hi,
I've seen many wiki's with Glogsters that have links from the pictures on the log to websites. I cannot figure out how to set the links. Can someone offer some directions? I'd appreciate the help. Already searched the forums at Glogster and couldn't find info.
Thanks!
Ruthie
I saw that as well. I bet we have to pay for a special subscription to do the more advanced stuff.
Ruthie,
I know how to do it! You create your links in Glogster. Click on the picture in your Glog that you want to use as a link. A box will appear around the picture with a black bar in the upper left corner that gives you some editing functions. Click on the word "Edit". A new toolbox will appear and one of the choices is the link icon. Click on it and a box will popup into which you can paste the url of the wiki page you want to link to. So you'll want to have your glog open in one window, and your wiki in another so you can go back and forth to get the urls. When you embed your Glog on your wiki, the links will be there and they will work. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the info on Glogster. This sounds very interesting. I am going to check this out and hopefully use it on my wiki. Hope it works for me.
I Love the glogster look. Thanks for these tips I will gve it a go. Does anyone have a list of suggested glogster support wikis or information sites to further support a newbie to developing one?

Glogster works with everything that I have ever tried to use it with. My guess is that it works with almost anything.
I've been creating glogs left and right. Love 'em!
Tip #1 - Sign up at http://www.glogster.com/edu/ - the educational version. All glogs made thru here are private, so kids aren't cruising thru other people's glogs and locating all the glogs that may not be in good taste. The cool part of the ed glog account is that you can sign up all students to be 'friends' that can create their own glog pages, which YOU have access to!
Tip #2 - If adding the html coding to your PBworks page, it will turn out fairly small on the page. To make it larger, when you add the code (or you can right click on the green html code box in the wiki Edit view to access the coding), at the bottom of the coding, change the size dimensions. I found that simply adding 400 to the height & width is just enough - 914 x 780.

Thanks for an excellent example! Nice wiki, by the way :-)
Thanks for the great idea. I would love to size my glogster to my wiki. I followed how to get to the code. I only know basic code. Do I need to add the width and height at the end or beginning? Would it look something like this
<WIDTH=780 HEIGHT=914>
Do you need <img src=> in there somewhere? Thanks for any insight.
Disregard last post. I see how to edit the code and how to change the height and width. When I do that, nothing happens though. I see how to get to this code:
<iframe src="http://www.glogster.com/glog.php?glog_id=2727111&scale=100" width="960" height="1300" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" style="overflow: hidden;"></iframe>
I tried to just change 960 to 780 and 1300 to 914. The dimensions didn't change. Is there something that I'm missing?
Thanks for any insight.
