The way the PBWorks is linking files is "not-the-stat-of-art" and I think this is far more complicated than simply (like many other programs: e.g. Wikispaces, NIINGS) have a tool in teh editmenu to link and unlink and to import a fil from you own PC.

Why so complicated? - My users are grownup ladys and one singel problem and they will give up!

I do wonder why when trying to download a voki I have to use the html/java link instead of the the link for the voki?  I must be doing something wrong.  I have gone to this embed link for most everything including the youtube videos.
2.  Is there a way to download the surveys and voki's without the ads?

I am having problems linking a question or comment on the forum to my wiki page.  I am highlighting the text on my wiki page that will be the link.  Then I am clicking on the globe at the top of the page, but I can't find the forum comment that I made.   I hope someone can help.

When you make a comment in this forum, there is a permalink button in the top right-hand corner of your post.  Click on that, and it will copy the link.  Then go to your homework page, click on the 'edit' tab, highlight the text that will be your link, go on top to the link icon, choose 'URL', and 'Control V' ... that should paste in the link to your comment.  If you can't find your original comment, just make another one, and link that.

I have also had problems with the voki plug-in.  The html one has worked fine for me when I chose the 'other' option from the voki code menu.  I tried several of the codes until I found one that works.

I don't know about disabling the ads.
