The forum uses public 'usernames', which are a bit different then a pbworks id. When you first join the forum, you will be asked to choose a username to use within the forum. This username is only for display purposes, you still login with your pbworks id.
I have been having a hard time with the user ID as well. Is this where we are supposed to anser the questions pertinent to our grade level in homework, or do we do that on our homework page?
I am confused.
I didn't realize at first that I was logging onto something other than pbworks. I tried to log on as RDetwiler and was refused, so in frustration typed aaaaaaa, so that's now who I am, sorry. Any way I can change this?
I get the message that my preferred user ID: "MsPorterAtFHS" is already in use. Maybe I linked it to an earlier email address? Is there a way to look up the email or PBworks user id associated with a Forum ID?
Got it! The format looked so different - I was already in and just needed to add username.

This still doesn't answer the question "Can I change my username?" I clearly made a mistake this first time I tried to log on, and I'd like to fix it. Also, my photo appears in my account profile, but it doesn't show up in my posts. Any help? Thanks.

Hi, the username displayed in the forum is different then your login to pbworks. The username is for display purposes. I'm sorry, but usernames cannot be changed as they are hardlinked to your pbworks account so that you don't need to login 'twice'.
You can change your avatar in the forum by clicking on your avatar and uploading a photo or selecting one from our library. This is different then your pbworks avatar for the workspaces.
