Our team of third graders show that even 8 and 9 year olds can post and share their work on the web. It's also been a great resource for parents and has improved home/school communication. Check it out!

Your wiki is amazing!  Your kids (and parents) must love it!  It is so detailed with so many neat things on it!!  I am an Early LIteracy teacher and have 4 grade three classes and 1 grade two class and they love to visit our wiki!  I just started about 4 or 5 months ago and it is coming! It is not interactive as I am afraid people will not write appropriate things.  I am going to check back now and then with your wiki and see what wonderful stuff is going on and get some fantastic ideas!  Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing this with us!  I love that the students have their own pages and are so supportive of each others' work.  Did you have a discussion on wiki etiquette?  How did you notify parents of the wiki and get them involved?

I think your wiki is very informative for parents.  As a parent with a future K in school. I must say I hope my child's teacher finds time to use a wiki to communicate.

This is a great wiki. I teach 4th grade and love seeing examples of how students use a wiki for blogging. I hope you don't mind if I share your example with othe teachers in my building.

My third graders felt like "tech stars," taking pride in their year's accomplishments.  Love is definitely the word I would use, also.

You have inspired me to do wikis with primary students. I love your student's work. What a wonderful medium for sharing with parents (and grandparents). I will visit back to your site for ideas do do with my grade 3 classes. I am a teacher-librarian  at a public school in Barrie, Ontario Canada. When I get my wiki up and running I will send you a link.

Wow?!!  Loved your wiki.   There was so much to look at.  This is a great way to share with parents.  I am bookmarking your wiki and plan to visit it often to keep up with the great things your class is doing.  Thanks for sharing.
